Gyokuro no Sato

Enjoy the taste of authentic gyokuro picked from the nearby Asahina region and maccha tea while surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air in our tea room, “Hyougetsutei”.  Even if you don’t know tea etiquette or how to sit Japanese-style, you’ll be able to sit in a real tea room and participate in a tea ceremony or sit back and relax with some tea and sweets.  For those that want to experience the fresh cuisine of the area, “Cha no Katei” utilizes gyokuro and ingredients from the local area to create an uniquely Japanese taste. For those that want to bring the flavors of Shizuoka back home with them, we have a store inside the facilities.
